Bespoke handmade Alpaca Rugs and Cushions

 Handmade and designed on farm

 These are truly rugs to enjoy in your home. Our rugs will complement any size and style of room no matter what the décor from larger fireplace rugs to smaller rugs for the side of your bed or just a feature in your living room! 

For the rugs and cushions  I use the blanket, the seconds are used for the cushion inserts

The amount of fleece required varies on pattern and size, but a large rug takes approx. 

2 .5 - 3kg of un-skirted fleece. I am happy to send back any spare fleece at your cost. 

The fleece is skirted and washed in plant based detergent and air dried, for the needle felted cushions and rugs the fleece is then picked and carded (all done by me on farm) ready for me to start the rug / cushions. 

You can send me a design but please bear in mind I am no artist !

The pattern will be needle felted by hand on a jute backing or for cushion a cotton backing.

Images are sent to you for any changes and approval before completed.

Peg loom rugs

The fleece is skirted then spun. The spun fleece is then washed in plant based detergent and air dried,

The rug is woven on a peg loom using cotton warp and hand finished, ready to be sent to its new home

The cushion insert  are made from pure cotton with a zip opening and your seconds for the filling
